Harbour Studio Polperro
Harbour Studio has been renovated to
provide luxury accommodation in an idyllic setting.
It
was previously owned by Frederick Cook, a famous local artist and
his wife, who was an illustrator for Enid Blyton. The
cottage was bought at auction in London two years ago and restored
using traditional materials.
As
you would expect from an artists studio, the cottage is full of
natural sunlight. The cosy sitting room benefitting the most from
this with the large skylight windows. The wood burning stove is
perfect for those wishing to take an autumn / winter break
There is an initial supply of logs and the local newsagent sells
bags of logs.
The
cottage sleeps four people comfortably, upstairs the master bedroom
has a double bed and downstairs there is a twin bedded room.
The
luxuriously appointed kitchen has an Aga Cooker, dishwasher, washer
dryer, fridge and microwave. From the kitchen walk out onto the
balcony which overhangs the harbour itself.
There is a main bathroom upstairs, with a bath and shower. The
bathroom also boasts a heated towel rail. Downstairs there is a WC
with wash basin. For
the convenience of holidaymakers all duvets, bed linen and towels
are supplied and costs are inclusive of electricity and gas.
Well
behaved dogs are welcome and there is private parking space in the
main car park for the use of the cottage occupants.
